The Process
Subscribe for $300 at the start of each month. Cancel anytime — no contracts, no drama.
Five brand-new Keynote trivia show files drop into your subscriber dashboard, ready to download.
Open the file, plug in your laptop, and host a trivia night your regulars will actually talk about.
Not Your Average Trivia
Every file is a fully produced show — not a list of questions. Your host opens the file and the crowd is already entertained.
Every question comes with custom graphics, animations, and on-screen reveals. Clips, images, and visual gags are baked right into the slideshow — your crowd reacts to what they see, not just what they hear.
Plug in. Press play. Look like a pro.
Every show has scripted comedy beats — wrong-answer reactions, crowd-trolling slides, and running gags that build through the night. Your host doesn't need to be a comedian. The show does the heavy lifting.
The crowd laughs. They stay. They order another round.
Before the first question drops, 30 meme and photo slides run on screen to entertain guests as they arrive and get settled. No awkward silence. No dead air. Just the crowd warming up and laughing before the game even starts.
The vibe is set before you say a word.
Food & Bev Incentives — Built Into Every Show
Every show includes two proven F&B drivers that get your crowd ordering — not just sitting. These aren't afterthoughts. They're scripted into the show flow so your staff knows exactly when to move.
Appetizer Bonus
An introductory slide will come up announcing the bonus point, You select the app, and have the teams order it for a bonus point.
Beer Chug Challenge
A crowd-pleasing moment built into the show where teams send up their best chugger for a points challenge. A very easy way to sell extra beer!
The Categories
Every show has six categories — but no two shows are identical. Music might show up as 80s Rock, Songs That Mention Animals, or Musical Geography. Sports, TV, and pop culture themes recur in fresh forms. And then there are the wildcards — Congressman or Pornstar?, Fishing Lure or Sex Toy?, Histories Mysteries, Toys & Games, Step-sisters, and more — that come and go and keep the crowd guessing. Teams get two minutes per question, 5–6 questions per round.
Sample Question
"Which cartoon character's name consists entirely of three different terms for penis?"
Answer: Woody Woodpecker

Per Question
Teams huddle, debate, and lock in their answer before the clock runs out.
Questions Per Round
Six categories, 5–6 questions each — a full night of competition across every table.
The Final Round
Teams wager 0–6 points on the last question. Last place can win. Nobody's out until it's over.
Shows rotate every billing cycle. Subscribers always have exactly 5 active shows available for download.
The Opportunity
What The Dickens Trivia isn't a read-aloud question sheet. It's a fully produced show — text, photos, personality, and pacing built right in. Each one takes around six hours to write. That's the time you're buying back. The kind of show that turns a Tuesday night into the highlight of someone's week — and you didn't have to spend your Sunday writing it.
$350
Per Show
A single 4-hour hosting gig — setup, show, breakdown — at the right venue. That's what the market will pay.
4 hrs
Total Time
Setup, the full show, and breakdown. That's your entire commitment for a night that earns more than most part-time jobs pay in a week.

Proven Loyalty
Some teams at our flagship venue have almost never missed a night in over a decade. That's not trivia — that's community.
6 hrs
Saved Per Show
That's how long it takes to write one of these shows from scratch. If I could buy them instead of write them, I would — especially at this price.
The best trivia nights aren't just games — they're rituals. Teams pick their table. They have their drinks ready before you start. They trash-talk the team in the corner. They come back next week and the week after that.
That kind of loyalty doesn't happen with a generic question sheet. It happens when the show has character — when the host has a tool worth showing up for. What The Dickens gives you that tool.
Based on $350/show. Results vary by market and venue.

From The Venues
Our Tuesday trivia nights went from 20 people to a packed house in two months. The shows are fresh, the questions are actually hard, and my staff loves running them.

The Rusty Anchor Bar & Grill
I was spending hours writing trivia questions myself. Now I just download the Keynote file and we're ready to go. Best $300 I spend every month.

Sidebar Lounge
The 90s pop culture round had my regulars absolutely losing their minds. These shows have personality — they're not just a list of questions.

A Decade of Obsession
What The Dickens Trivia has been running for over ten years — not as a side hustle, but as a genuine obsession. Every show is written by someone who grew up on Arnold movies, guitar solos, sky hooks, El Camino's, Shredder, Ken Griffey Jr. rookie cards, and still gets unreasonably excited about a well-crafted question.
That love for trivia is what separates these shows from anything you'd find online. The questions have personality. The rounds have rhythm. The funny moments aren't filler — they're the reason your crowd comes back next week.
Ten years of packed rooms. Hundreds of shows. One writer who still can't stop.
Join the venues running the best trivia nights in town. Five shows, every month, zero prep.
